Our Program
NCI’s Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program will prepare you to code patients’ medical records accurately. You will be taught current terminology, proper classification of diseases, and how to find and apply codes to medical records. In addition, you will learn techniques to help maximize reimbursement from insurance companies, work with worker’s compensation, access diagnosis-related groups, and much more. Upon completion of the program, students are encouraged to take the National Certification Examination for additional credentials.
